A First Birthday Photo Session in Frenchtown, NJ
Hunterdon County Family Photographer | Hunterdon County, NJ | Frenchtown, NJ
I was going through old photos recently and stumbled upon a first birthday photo session I did for my sweet niece (and her parents). It was hard to believe that one year before she was an infant, and at this time she was walking and starting to talk. It was also a celebration for my brother and sister-in-law, who had done a great job with their first year as parents!
On a cool October day they came to my neck of the woods in Frenchtown, NJ. They also live in Hunterdon County, and wanted their family session to be local. My niece was really snuggly that day, so we got many amazing shots of her with each of her parents. You may recognize one of these as the lead photo on my website! I just love how E. was cuddling into her mom’s arms. It showed their relationship perfectly, and is exactly what I love to capture during my family photo sessions.
This session is also special to me because it was my very first one! Years before I started my business, I had finally taken the plunge and purchased a mirrorless camera. I wanted it because I loved photography, but more importantly, I wanted to use it to capture important moments in my family’s life. It gave me the confidence to continue to educate myself, practice, and shape the photographer I am today. For that I am forever grateful.
