Anniversary Celebrations in North Jersey

I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely couple (who happen to be my aunt and uncle) for their anniversary! Both are incredibly talented artists - Steve is a skilled wood carver and makes these really cool spindly spiders and lifelike fish. Jeannie is good at everything! Interior design, painting, mosaics, sewing, glasswork, jewelry making…if you name it she can do it! I have many of her pieces in my home which is so special. 

I met up with them at a pond near their home in North Jersey. They chose this place specifically because it was where Steve proposed! We had a fun hour together laughing and chatting in between poses. They were comfortable in front of the camera immediately which made for these amazing candid shots. 

Did I mention they cook as well? They had me over for a lovely multi-course meal after, and we so enjoyed each other’s company.
